300D Glow Plugs

by "randallbrink@[EMAIL PROTECTED] " <randallbrink@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Feb 6, 2008 at 06:40 PM

Although this has been covered extensively, I want to clarify some
information from earlier posts.

My understanding is, that if you have the "loop type" (older) glow
plugs, AND your glow plug light comes on, then ALL of you glow plugs
must be working. I further understand that this is because the plugs
are wired in series, thus, one goes out, the light does NOT come on.

I've gleaned every post hereon regarding the issue, and these are the
deductions I've made. The reason for the clarification is that I have
the old type and my glow plug lights just fine, and I want to verify
that I do not need to change glowplugs, if that is the case.

Thanks, as always, for all information and advice.
