I called the dealer about this and they said GM will only replace the
cluster free under warranty if you have less than 70K miles on the
vehicle,
unfortunately, mine is close to 80K now. :>( They said it will cost
around $600 to fix it out of warranty.
I do beleive this will be the last GM product I ever buy, and thats coming
from somebody who has never owned anything else ever. My wife's last
Saturn
vehicle was falling apart at 60K, I've had numerous issues with my last 3
GM
trucks, an '97, '00, and now my '03.
It's no wonder why this company just posted the single largest loss by an
automaker in history.
not a happy GM owner.
