Honda makes a great car and they also make a great motorcycle.  I
agree, my contention is that some people are actually going out and
purchasing a hybrid and trading in their obsolete 2006 vehicle based on
what the Auto and Oil and GOV cartel are telling them.

Keep what you have, or retrofit it if you want to make it more
efficient but by no means trade it in and reward the cause, thinking
you will be a hero. Your old car is still out there burning the same
amount of gas and all you have managed to do is add another fuel
burning car to the road.  It saved nothing!
