Dice iPod Adapter

I'm interested in replacing my trunk mounted CD changer with a Dice 
adapter to play tunes from my video iPod through the stock radio in my 
2001 330XI.

How complicated will the change over be? Just swapping plugs or will it 
involve intelligent wire cutting; soldering and luck?

Any experiences with this adapter that anyone might wish to share?
