In this week's Autoweek a columnist who has recently been driving with only
one eye (presumably some medical problem) and hence more attentively than
he
had been with both eyes functioning, laments how he has noticed what jerks
most BMW drivers (he puts the figure at 90% of us in the CA locales he is
driving in). The problem is dangerously aggressive driving and generally
non-existent road manners. He notes that he does not remember BMW drivers
being this bad decades ago and attributes the problem to BMW's becoming
just
another fa****on statement check box for a large part of their customer
base.
Living in a quiet little Michigan town where there are a relative handful
of
BMW's other than my own, I don't really see this sort of thing, but in CA
where this fellow says BMW's are as common as Camrys, hmmm, maybe. This
guy
is a Bimmer-admiring car buff so he may be on to something...or not? What
say you all.
How about over on the other side of the pond?
