Oue Euro E36s are already equipped with projector optics. Many people
retrofit HID into these without self levelling systems but simply swap
back
to halogens for our annual MOT test.
I did this with my own E36 but I modified the existing lamp mounting and
reflectors to take the Osram D2R lamps.
