Hi Hugh,

Thanks for the post.

Have read that trick in some of the other forums but didn't realise the
car 
had to run for 2 mins after going through the process. First time i
perfomed 
it,  did notice a big change in the response but lately, didn't seem to
make 
any difference so i'll perform it again and leave it running for 2 mins 
tomorrow.

Noise is really starting to worry me! sounds as if its a bearing running 
dry. Will buy some gearbox oil (83 220 142 516) this week and try topping
it 
up.

Downloaded an upgraded satnav disc but forgot to write on it what issue it

was. It definitely does not have postcode search which is a real pain.

BTW I'm in Belfast, N Ireland
