Don, thanks for the compliment, but making the adapter had nothing to do
with going under the dash and or dealing the wiring.  I took an old
cassette apart and dumped all the innards.  Made a 'long' coil from some
little-bitty copper wire and soldered a stereo input cable to the coil
ends then plugged the mini stereo plug into my player.  Inserted the
cassette into the tape-deck and voila!  Strauss was playing his tunes!
Believe me, no one was more surprised than I when the cd played thru the
car radio system!  Of course I've since learned these adapters are sold
at $10 +/- at walgip/fries...  I think I invented an invention that had
already been invented!  lol
