If the blower motor wears out that fast it's still lousy design. My 
wife's is still OK after 12 months so I assume the blower motor is OK.
The failure of these resistors covers far to many model years; can't 
they get it right.
It's a bit of a dumb design approach anyway, putting that resistor in 
the air flow. I'll bet they fail more in the colder climates because of 
the warmer air flowing over it.

The resistor I got to replace the original in my wife's 2001 Sebring 
looked crude compared to the original from Mexico. Then it not fitting 
the slot because of protruding wire ends and varying thickness was a sad 
bit of manufacturing. It looked like something done by kids.
Obviously Chrysler got it as cheap as possible; I'm surprised quality 
control approved it.
