Battery draining!

by "Keith Stelter" <keith@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Aug 3, 2007 at 06:32 PM

My 1997 Sebring Ragtop has recently acquired an odd problem.
Normally it's fine, but about once a month I get in it and the battery is
dead.
I can jump it and it's perfect again for weeks, and then it will do it
again. It's completely random, I've checked everything like dome lights,
console lights, etc. that could be causing the draw on the battery. I know

that bad diodes in the alternator can cause this, but they would do it all

the time. Anyone else every have this problem with their Sebring?
It's one of those problems that's nearly impossible to fix because it
doesn't do it with any regularity.
Thanks in advance for any advice!
