1996 Sebring emission problem

by "mbabs1234" <mbabs1234@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Nov 5, 2007 at 04:30 PM

I went to have my emissions tested today for the third time. It failed
again, but didn't give any diagnosis codes. According to them and AutoZone
which did the emissions diagnostic, everything shows as working fine.

The inspection is showing 'not ready'. The inspection places and the
automotive shop I went to says I have to just drive it until the motor
resets itself. I have driven over 200 miles then went for the last
inspection, and it's not showing anything reset and still showing 'not
ready. I called Gateway and they told me, there was something in my motor
that is preventing everything to reset.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can resolve this>
