You can get stranded in sub degree weather if you have a blow out, or a
fuel pump goes out or whatever. The lock smith charged $75.00 to recode
the key with out the replacement of a new lock cylinder. When the waffers
in the lock wear out the cylinder wears out as well, we guarantee our work
for 12 months, 12k miles, therefore if the cylinder is worn it gets
replaced. And the comment on the lock smith is he charged to much to
recode the cylinder. We charge $49 to recode an ignition lock if the cust
wants to just have this done in the event that the keys were stolen. You
make no sense at all, all parts wear regardless of year, make or model. Im
not going to argue with you. its pointless. you made a comment and I
replied.
