Re: 1998 Convertible Door 'snapping sound' when opened or closed

Very common on Sebrings.
The part is called a "door check", and they are $30.00 from the online 
places.
It takes about 30 minutes to change if you are at all handy with tools.
The door panel has 4 or 5 screws to remove and then it pops off. Then you 
just need a small socket to remove the check assembly.
