My future son-in-law had his car towed off the freeway three months ago and
it has been sitting in the driveway since. I installed a new battery and
new
spark plugs gapped to .050 thousands. The original plugs were pitted and
rusty. The engine cranks but doesn't start. I pulled a spark plug and it's
wet with fuel so I'm sure fuel is getting to the cylinders. He also
mentioned the tow truck driver disabled the alarm system by pulling a fuse
somewhere, he said he put the fuse back in but it still doesn't start. Is
the security system inhibiting the ignition system? I plugged in an OBD-II
diagnostic tool and there are no faults recorded and all internal monitors
pass the power up test. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
