2001 Sebring Convertible Starter Fuse Problem

by Sandy <sandyh@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Feb 9, 2008 at 01:32 PM

Just started a few months ago, when I go to crank the engine, it will
start to turn and then goes dead. Power in the car, but not to radio.

AAA guy found the 20amp starter fuse was blown - replaced, and it
cranked right up. Since then, it blows out randomly, maybe 5 times in
the last 5 months. Haven't taken it in yet, afraid to get racked on
the repairs! fuses are cheap! LOL.

Any ideas how serious this could be?

Also, having fun with the pistons that hold the trunk up, should I
take in to Chrysler to repair, or is this something easy I could do
myself? Tired of the trunk trying to cut my head off.

thanks for any advise!
