Recently, my chrysler sebring has been acting up. Randomly, it will do
this in the following order at any time (idling, cruising at 50mph,
stopping to turn, accelerating): I notice a belt squeaking under my
hood (passenger side), my gauges all fall flat (go to zero), the dash
lights (headlights were on) surge or get very bright for about 2-3
seconds, then things pop back to normal and my stereo trips out for
long enough for me to reach for it and it cuts back on. I have driven
my car a total of about an hour (50 miles) and it has happen 4 times.
My father is trying to figure out what is wrong with it, and he says
that it isn't the alternator, and he thinks it may be the computer,
but doesn't want to put $400 into one if it won't solve the problem.
PLEASE HELP ME!! Thank you :-)
