I have a '99 Sebring JXi with the auto dimming rear view mirror. It
has a pair of white lights that come on when the door is open or when
you press the button switch next to them. Lately, the lights have not
always come on when the door is opened although the other interior
lights do (so the door hinge switch is probably OK). Also, the lights
don't always come on when the switch is pressed. This is intermittant
and I found that bumping the mirror sometimes makes the lights work.
Any suggestions short of buying a new mirror assembly?
