Hi,
I had the same problem. Mine was about 2 months before its 2 year service
and the service indicator suddenly went to zero. I continued to run the
car
up to the 2 year service interval. My local Citroen dealer told me that as
long as the mileage was not more than 20,000 or 2 years then it was not a
problem. (just annoying) I don't think they can set it to a specific
mileage
for you, but I guess it doesn't hurt to ask.
It's not worth spending approx £200 on a service not required until 20,000
miles or 2 years, but when you DO take it in then check to be sure the
indicator is working correctly. I had to go back the next day as mine was
showing -50 miles (as though it was overdue again) and the spanner was
displayed. The mechanic said "ah we have a little fix for that, give me 10
mins", about 20mins later I got the car back. :-)
all the best
Neil
