Hi Key,
Since you seem to know all about locks, I would like to know some thing
about t-top locks. I have a Camaro with the locking t-tops. However, they
have apparently been changed somewhere in their history, so the door and
trunk key doesn't work in one and won't go in the other.
So I figure one is a different year, since key patterns change year to
year.
So what I would like to know is can a locksmith handle these? Can I take
my
t-tops in, get the one changed to fit my door key, and the other changed
both to this year key and rekeyed? Or are these types of locks only
available at dealers and locksmiths don't have them?
