i probally have the same pioneer head unit.. i replaced all 4 speakers and
ran new wire from the stero to them. i put rockford fosgate 6x9's in the
back and 5 1/4 rockfords in the front. the 6x9's fit very well after you
pull the bose enclosures.. the front, i left the enclosures and just
pulled
the speakers, but like i said i ran new wire to each speaker.. i didn't
cut
a single wire when i did the stero replacement just incase i wanted to put
the bose system back in.. i didn't add any amps, i just use the power
from
the cd player and it sounds better then the bose system.. the amps may be
bad.. mine squealed or made a buzz noise when they went bad.. i couldn't
get
mine to sound right with just a headunit change.. thats why i did the
speakers as well..
