Saw that at my dealer****p.  A new CTD Ram with only 7000 miles on it was 
in the shop with a scrapped engine.  The owner had it changed at some 
quick lube joint and the filter disintegrated internally causing a 
blockage.

Wouldn't a clogged filter cause a low oil pressure warning or is the 
sender prior to the filter?
