'97 caravan passed every test [california smog]; but failed with mystery
explanation of BCM not communicating with CCD. all the body functions
work (lights, door locks, airbags), and engine light comes on (then goes
off) at start up. bottom line is with what seems to be unrelated to
smog "incomplete drive cycle" from the state sponsored test machine, i
can't get the new tags...
smog guy says take it to the dealer (ouch); dealer says it may be a bad
connection: any/all tips gratefully considered
