I got 16-17 mpg with my '96 360. It had a 5 speed and a 3.55 axle.

you input everyone, seems the seals just dired up, the freon
is holding after several weeks so if it is a leak, it's a small one. i
try to cycle the AC for a while each time I drive now to kep the seals
lubbed.
