bad ECM?

by "jeremyal" <crap@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > May 4, 2008 at 06:42 PM

Hi,

My truck has no fuel and no spark. The ASD and fuel pump relays both
tested
good and have power at the connectors. The first time it wouldn't start
for
me, with key on the relays would rapidly click on/off while the check
engine
light flashed in sync with them ...the relays don't click anymore and the
check engine light will not come on at all. I did verify that there was
power and ground at the ECM harness (but I don't know which pins are
supposed to be what). Is it likely that ECM itself has failed? If so, do

they just fail on their own, or is there likely a short or something that
will fry another one if I replace it?

Thanks for any advice,
Its a 1992 5.2L MPFI, around 225k miles
