I'm certain. The owners manual does not mention any such limitation. I
have mine mounted at about an 80 degree angle and it works perfect. The
owners manual for my older Prodigy does state less than 60 degrees.
I think there is confusion in the way the manual is written. I called
and Tekonsha clarified for me. It must be mounted such that the display
is mounted pointing anywhere from 0 degrees (towards rear of vehicle) to
90 degrees (towards roof). It can't point right or left towards the
doors and the controller must be mounted so the right/left sides are
even, meaning one side is not slanted more towards the front or rear of
vehicle. Not sure if I'm wording it any better than the manual!
