My car dies when i put it into gear. I have no first gear at all as it
will not even give me the option of an open 1st gear while engine is
running. I 'need' to drive it to reset my new IAC because the
intructions say it needs to be driven at 40mph in order for it to set
itself where it needs to be so it will stop idling erratically. It
spurts and surges and chokes. It was doing it before i replaced IAC so
i dont know if reseting the new one will fix the problem or not. Its
been sitting for 3 years because it was wrecked and i was going to fix
it so i can drive to college back and forth 80 miles one way an with
gas prices its hard to drive my truck. Ive replaced Fuel Injector,
Fuel Filter and IAC. Please help me.
