I hear ya........I moved down to St. Petersburg Florida about 7 years ago
and my kinda bronze-brown/black paint job went to heck. Yesterday I put
in
a new battery and alternator, but all told, it keeps on ticking. I had a
little trouble getting the wires off the alternator until I finally
figured
out that there was one latch on the end of the connector instead of two on
the sides.......after that only a couple of cuts and bruises and the rest
went smooth..........I'm 68 and so my back will pay for that for the next
couple of days............. I drive about 10 miles everyday to work and
then
some on the weekends, not too much like before when I lived in
Virginia......that was a 75 mile commute. I need a couple of tires
too.....mine uses the wide ones cause I have the Magnesium wheels, and
they
are kinda hard to find sometimes.........Some folks laugh about my
Festiva,
cause I guess it's kinda out of style, but I love it.....A/c, automatic
transmission, fuel-injected........oh yeah, I need a recharge on the A/C,
or
maybe go to one of those R234 conversion kits...ever try one of those?
