I bought mine new in Alexandria Virginia, at least started making payments
then.......almost lost it twice as my work gave way on a couple of
occasions, but was lucky enough to re-finance it and finally did get it
paid
off. It was the top of the line model, had everything, and cost a bundle
(back then).....the best radio, sound proofing, air conditioning, parcel
tray, tinted glass, console, fuel injection, automatic transmission,
electric side mirrors, and even $500 for the magnesium wheels, and it has
been very good to me......no really major repair bills. I'll keep
driving
it till the cows come home. I think I'm gonna slowly start restoring it
tho, new paint, and fix everything mechanically.......heck, it's just as
good as the new ones on gas mileage, and it's kinda-sorta getting to be a
classic. My Lady just had her 93 Grand Marquis re-painted and new trim
and
it looks like a million. Gotta git now, I watched 6 young guys put a new
roof on the house today and it got me all tired out, remembering the last
time I did a job like that (10 years ago)<g>.......it was 90 degrees here
today in St. Petersburg Florida........it will still be awhile before the
snow gets here.......
Regards,
Chuck
