Why no turbochargers?

by "Andy" <andya@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Dec 8, 2006 at 09:37 AM

I'm curious as to why I never see turbochargers hooked up to flatties. Not
enough energy in the exhaust? Seems to me that any boost would help a
flathead breath better.

BTW I've got 5 '48-'52 flathead engines in various states of assembly
(including one french block!) stashed in my garage I bought for a canceled

project. Any ideas as to what I should do with them? Is it worth my time
and
$$$ to get them all running and try to sell?

TIA

Andy
