Can anyone confirm whether you (i.e. me) can program the immobiliser
keys yourself for a UK spec Mk2 Ford Focus (Nov 05)?
I've read in a number of places that as long as you have 2 keys which
can start the car then you can do some key hokey-cokey and get a new key
programmed. If this is the case, then getting another remote key should
be quite straightforward, and not too costly as already have 2 working
keys.
However, I've also read that it may not be the case, and it's a dealer
only thing.
Can anyone confirm - ideally, if they've done it themselves on an late
2005 Mk2 model (in case they changed things earlier/later).
