The 2008 Focus can be ordered with an automatic braking system
(ABS) and traction control ($385) for better stopping and starting
on slippery roads. I'm quite happy with the winter handling of my
Focus during Buffalo winters. The standard all-weather tires are
also quite good.

ABS is standard equipment on the Civic.
