I recently lost my Speedometer and Odometer after my speedometer cable
accidentally got crimped or crushed on my 1995 Ford Taurus GL, 3.8 liter
with AXODmatic automatic transmission. The cruise control also stopped
working when speedometer stopped working. (I checked 15 Amp cruise control
fuse but it was unblown and OK)
Questions;
1) Does Cruise Control require functional speedometer cable to work
properly?
2) How do you replace check and replace speedometer cable and is
dashboard
removal of speedometer gauge necessary to replace this cable?
