sugar in the gas tank of my 2004 chrys concordeHEELLLLP!

I found out a week after returning from vacation and driving my car that my
ex wife had put sugar in the gas tank of my relatively new 2004 Chrysler
concorde. I found out only after driving it for a week and then having it
die on my and refuse to start. I dropped the gas tank and flushed out the
tank and fuel filter with water to dissolve all the sugar, let it dry then
rinsed them both with rubbing alcohol to absorb any leftover water, rinsed
again with gas and replaced the "sock" filter on the fuel pump. The car
still wouldn't start. So i went and got some engine start and sprayed it
into the engine, and it starteed and ran for about two minutes and when i
went to put it into drive to take it to the gas station to fill the tank
up it died and never returned to life again. My mechanic is now telling me
to get the fuel injectors replaced, but my uncle says i can just flush
them
out and i'll be fine. does anybody know anything that would help me with
this?
