Ignition & Electrical problems in '96 Jetta Trek.

Sorry, this is going to be somewhat lengthy I bought my Jetta over the
summer. It's been in several repair shops to get it "up to code." I just
started driving it this week and I realized a few things are wrong. I'll
start with the instrument cluster. My airbag light won't go off, the
temperature guage and speedomometer are dead and the automatic sunroof
won't open/close unless the car is running. Now with the most noticeable
problems. Usually it will take about 15-20 seconds to start it and when
it catches, it starts at extremely low rpms or the rpms fluctuate. When it
idles it's either at 900 rpms or 1000, it just flunctuates constantly
between these two marks. My oil light and alarm went off a few times on
the few long trips so far with plenty of oil in it. Last but not least,
the engine died without any struggling to stay started when I turned on my
blinker at a stop sign (blinker also quit working when this happened). I
had the the battery and alternator checked and they were fine. I had a
tune-up where upon, they changed the oil. I thought it may have been a
dirty fuel injector so I put some STP fuel injector cleaner in and it
still has trouble starting. Any help on these matters would be greatly
appreciated.

Thank you
