My friend has a 1969-72 ??? olds cutlass rocket 350. It has the coil..It
has no spark, but if I run a wire from the ground to the battery and spark
it really fast (like I'm trying to make it fire the plugs.) it runs and
when
I stop it shuts off.. Is this the coil being shot or balast resistor ?..
I
am new to the old school stuff..I told him to drop a hei in it and be done
with it but it is a classic and he wants to keep it stock. HELP !!
