I have updated the DVD in the GPS navigation system of my 2004 M45 twice.
In
general it's a simple matter of ejecting the old one and replacing it with
the new one. The secomnd one I did was slightly more complex in that it
had
two disks, a CD with new software that needed to be loaded into the nav
system and then the regular DVD that replaced the original old DVD.
Thought
two steps, it was still just replace the disk and follow some simple
instructions on the label.
I bought mine directly from the www.zenrin.com web site. I'm guessing you
could get an older version pretty cheap from a private party.
Bye.
