I was told to check the connections at the transmission control module to
possible correct a ****ft solenoid E problem.
Comes on now and then. I disconnect the battery and reset the computer and
the lights go off. Sometimes they stay off for a week or two and them
other
times maybe a day. I'm tired of constantly resetting the computer to make
the lights go out. The car ****fts fine and runs great.
I go through car washes and the bottom of the car is flushed with water as
part of the wash. It could be a connector problem so I'm willing to look
at
that.
Now, where is the TCM located on a 1999 ES300?
I called the dealer and the parts person couldn't find it in 20 minutes
and
then put me on hold.
I'll skip them.
