Hey there this is my first post and I wasn’t sure where to put it.
I am a missionary in Nicaragua. I live way out in the jungle and the
best vehicle I have is a 1987 mercedies benz Unimog.

However, I need new tires for it. It currently has Prostor (russian)
tires on it 12.00-20 that measure at 43.5 inches tall. The rim reads
20 x 11 on it so I am assuming that I have 11 inch wide rims. My
problem is that I don’t understand rim measurements for instance at
this sight:

I found some of the michelin XL tires and it shows the rim size as
for the 12.5 R 20 xl in rims 10.00 11.00
for the 13.00 R 20 xl in rims 10.00w 10.00
for the 14.00 R 20 xl in rims 10.00w 10.00
and for the 16.00 R 20 xl in rims 10.00w 10.00v10.00
What does all that mean? What is the diff between rims 10.00 and
10.00w?
will any of those tires fit in my rims that are 11 if not does anyone
know where I could find tires that are between 12-16 inches wide with
a real diameter of at least 42 inches that will fit a 11 inch rim?
Ohh by the way I always use tubes in all my tires.
