I have a 1990 Mercury Cougar and the air conditioning has finally
failed. It needs a coolant refill ( r12) but apparentely you have to
switch over to a new type of coolant (r134a). Does anyone know how
much coolant it takes to refill, and if I have to switch over to the
new coolant, a good conversion kit that is easy to use. Thanks.
