So i Just bought a 96 monte carlo with 14,500 miles on it. From my
grandmother who never drove it. Im driving around and the volts light
starts coming on at low RPM's and shuting off once over 2,000 RPM's. So i
figure that some how at 14k on it the alternator is going. I get it home
to find my muti-meter is locked in the trunk of my old car so checking as
of this min. is not possible. So im outside tryin to put alittle strain on
the alternator and figure i'll go around the block. Well half way around
the anti-lock like comes on. So now the anti-lock light is steady on and
the volt light goes on and off. Is there a known problem anyone can speak
of while I try to find my old car keys.
