Will a 1995 Pontiac Grandam 3.1 engine work in a1998 monte Carlo 3.1

Can anyone tell me if the engine from a 1995 Pontiac Grandam 3.1 is
interchangeable with a 1998 monte Carlo 3.1 engine.
