Check all your vacuum lines leading to the master cylinder first off if you
haven't.
If water got into the master cylinder (which is likely if the seal was all
cracked and broken) you probably have to totally flush the lines, both
front and rear. Bleeding them might have just moved water from the master
cylinder down into the lines, making things worse. If it were my car I
would try a full brake fluid flush.
