I got a 84 300zx and there is a noise coming from the rear when I ****ft
into second gear. When I used to own my 70 240z, this problem was the
rear drive axle that goes from the rear end to the wheel. on my 240,
the problem was apparent because when I touched and moved the shaft, it
moved and I could tell its the u joints on the drive shaft coming from
the rear end to the wheel but on my 300, when I touch it, it does not
move or have any slack. I hate to spend 75 bucks each to replace them
if I dont have to. Have any idea what the problem is?
