IIRC only the earliest 240Z, "series 1" as some call it, lacked the bins
in the rear deck beneath the carpet.
I had one of these cars, it's production date on the door was Nov. 1970.
My 71 and 73 both have the bins.
I have never had a Z with stock speakers so I can't address that one.
