	I hobbled over to Autozone after work, and bought the rebuilt 
alt. Quite a struggle to put it in, about three hours! I think it 
took me less than half an hour to put the alt in my '85 Camry.

	Voltage is now about 13.5VDC regardless of RPMs, even with all 
accessories on. I presume that this has solved the problem.
