I don't think struts and springs are the problem.
Jack the car up. Do the springs rattle when you shake them up and down?
No? It's NOT springs.
Struts? I can only see them making a noise if something is obviously
loose, like
the bolts at the top.
Torque every bolt in the front end to factory spec. That means loosen it
a bit,
and then torque it with a torque wrench (I'd really like to have a wrench
that's
a torque wrench when tightening, and a normal wrench when loosening.)
Find a place you can reproduce the problem. Have a buddy with good ears
(no rock band fanatics) stand outside the car as you go by. Make sure
it's
coming from where you think it is. Have them stand on both sides of the
car as you go by.
Don't throw parts, labor, and money at the problem, find the problem.
No: it's not springs.
