And a good one. The AC dries the air that is blowing on the windshield
so that the inside doesn't fog up with moist air.
In cold rainy weather, all the interior windows fog up from damp clothes
and moist breath. I turn on the AC along with the heat to remove the fog.
Besides, it is recommended that one operate the AC once in a while in
the winter.
