I don't know the answer here, but if you ask for a Haynes manual for the
89
Pulsar at the auto parts store, they'll give you the Sentra book.

I am not sure this is even feasible. (Everything's possible, but not
everything is worth it. :-) ) Even swapping manual transmissions is hard.
Keep in mind that you have to take out your brake pedal (in all
likelihood),
put in another brake pedal and the clutch pedal - but is the hardware
present to even do this? I don't know. Then, you have to run the clutch
cable, and the gear linkage.
Might be a good opportunity to learn how to rebuild automatic
transmissions,
though, if you're that hardcore!
