I would have to guess that it's an aftermarket installation. If you can
find
out what brand/model (you would have to locate the module or find out from
the previous owner?) you could maybe go to the manufacturers web site and
download some do***entation for it and reset it back to factory defaults
using a combination of the valet switch and remote and then see if you
still
have the problems. Or maybe there's a FAQ on the web site or tech sup****t
number you could call. Just a thought
