What a coincidence. My harmonic balancer JUST went out on my 88 delta
88 royale. Except...mine was literally in a couple of pieces, held
together only by the belt. You may want to check your spark plugs for
damage...having the harmonic balancer go can throw off timing, and
cause problems with the valves.
